Man arrested in connection to fatal Littleton hit-and-run crash

A man has been arrested in connection to a Littleton hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian.

Georgio Willie Moore, 34, was arrested Tuesday and is facing multiple charges, including vehicular homicide, after Preston Dunn, 51, was killed early Sunday morning, the Littleton Police Department said in a Tuesday news release.

Littleton officers responded to the crash just after 3:20 a.m. Sunday on Bowles Avenue, near the intersection of Santa Fe Drive.

The driver of a white SUV was traveling eastbound on Bowles Avenue when they hit Dunn, police said.

The crash was one of four crashes in the Denver metro in which pedestrians were killed.

One happened Saturday in Aurora near the CU Anschutz campus.

The other two were in Denver: one Saturday near Sheridan Boulevard and Morrison Road and one Sunday on Colorado Boulevard.
