A man is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting overnight in Lakewood.
Lakewood police were called to a shooting in the 9000 block of West Virginia Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, where they found two men with gunshot wounds, according to a Lakewood Police Department news release.
Both victims were taken to a hospital. One died, and the other is expected to survive, police said.
Investigators identified two suspects located in Aurora and arrested both, a man and woman.
The man, identified as Tylor Serrano, 21, was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree kidnapping, and the woman was charged with second-degree kidnapping.
Both were booked into the Jefferson County jail.
